Existing collective agreements
The working conditions of members of the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland are primarily negotiated with employers by negotiation organizations. In the private sector, the negotiation body is YTN (Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff), and in the public sector, it is JUKO (Negotiation Organization for Public Sector Professionals).
The Union of Professional Engineers negotiates the collective agreement for the IT service sector together with its member association Tietoala ry and YTN.
Engineers and other technical professionals also work in sectors where no collective agreements exist for university-educated employees.
The latest collective agreements for senior salaried employees in the private sector are published on YTN’s website (Versions in English under the corresponding contract branch collapsible sections).
Public sector agreements can be downloaded from JUKO’s website under the respective agreement sectors.
