Who wants to be an engineer?

Have you considered a career in technology? If you have already graduated from upper secondary school or vocational school and are interested in science and math, engineering studies could be your thing. Engineering studies have a strong practical focus, with various projects and hands-on practice in a key role. As an engineering student, you will dive into real work from the start! After graduating, you could work in operations, design, research, development, and product development – the options and industries are numerous!

What can working life offer me?

Upper secondary school students Heimo and Amanda are wondering what they would like to do for a living when they grow up. What can working life offer them? What is more important: your salary or whether your work itself is motivating? Is it really true that it can be nice to go to work every day? What does an engineer even do?

Heimo and Amanda set out to find out and interview Finnish engineers who are developing Finnish innovations. In addition, Heimo played some table football, Amanda gave an injection to a baby doll – and some cows made an on-camera appearance, as well. Watch the videos on the YouTube channel.
