Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (in English)

Do you want to quickly improve your organization’s efficiency and quality?

The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training is an investment that pays for itself many times over. This course combines the best practices of Lean thinking and Six Sigma, offering you powerful tools to streamline processes, reduce variation, and maximize customer value.

Lean focuses on streamlining processes and eliminating unnecessary steps, increasing efficiency and speeding up delivery times. Six Sigma, on the other hand, uses precise statistical methods to improve quality and reduce errors. Together, they provide effective tools for increasing productivity and improving quality – the keys to better organizational performance.

This training is suitable for anyone who wants to learn the Lean Six Sigma methodology and the tools to improve processes and quality by reducing waste and errors.

Training content

Preparation for the training is done through a pre-assignment provided to the participants.

  • The history and basic principles of Lean and Six Sigma methods
  • The most common challenges in Lean projects and how to solve them
  • The connection between value stream and customer satisfaction
  • 7 + 1 types of waste and how to eliminate them
  • Flow efficiency and bottleneck management
  • Factor Physics, Little’s Law, and Kingman’s Equation in process improvement
  • Fundamentals of the DMAIC problem-solving method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control)

The goal of the training is for participants to master the basic concepts of Lean and the most common methods used in Lean Six Sigma DMAIC projects to a level that enables them to work successfully in such projects.

This training is primarily for non-Finnish speaking members.

Trainer

Hannu Järvelin is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and an experienced professional in development. Hannu’s background includes work at Nokia, and he leads the expert network of Kehittämistoimisto Erinomainen while serving as the chairman of the company’s board.
He has extensive industrial experience at both strategic and operational leadership levels, spanning product development, manufacturing, services, and quality. Hannu possesses hands-on practical expertise in various types of development projects across multiple industries.

Cancellation policy

When a member registers for the event, they commit to attending or notifying of any obstacle before the event starts. If the registrant does not cancel their participation, a penalty fee of 25 euros will be charged after the event.
